Bespoke Kitchens in Cheltenham & Gloucestershire

Bespoke Kitchens

Freedom of choice is essential to the Joseph & Kingsley experience. Our large range of exceptional products allows a sense of the 'bespoke' from the outset: customers are welcomed to choose freely when building their kitchen templates or consult our 'Inspirations' collection for suggested pairings. Within the range there are a number of customisation options, from the finish of frontals to the choice of timber.

Throughout the process our expert designers are on hand to discuss the demands of your space. For no extra charge, our specialist team will design a unique kitchen to your requirements; making use of our stocked products and suggesting bespoke elements - such as tailor-made dressers - as necessary, to reflect your individual style.

Below are some details regarding designs that our designers have recently completed, which we hope will provide some insight into the Joseph & Kingsley process.

Luxury Bespoke Kitchen Design Cheltenham

Our client was a bachelor looking for a modern take on a kitchen that was still traditional at heart.

The designer produced two different options to incorporate different approaches, taking his comments into account and keeping the design uncluttered and fresh.

The classic look of solid wood furniture was given a contemporary twist by opting for in-frame cabinetry in one design and our Chatham frontals (Shaker-style) in the other. Symmetry was prioritised, with clean, strong lines and integrated appliances creating a seamless and fluid aesthetic.

Both designs maintained the tonal warmth and quality promoted by solid wood kitchen furniture but incorporated modern colour schemes and elements to update the look. In one, pilasters, end panels and frontals were painted in the same colour and contrasted with white quartz worktops and charcoal glass splashbacks to give a contemporary feel; in both, the solid wood interiors and textures maintained the luxury element of a traditional kitchen.

Luxury Bespoke Kitchen Design Southam

A very busy professional couple with plenty of ideas. The house was yet to be completed so visualisation and close collaboration was essential. Ultimately they desired a clean, open space, modern without being too 'trendy'.

The quality of our solid oak doors was required but with flat frontals; as such our designer outsourced some potential models to get an idea before completing the design. Space was also an important compositional factor: the island was to be used for both food preparation and entertaining, and required seating for five people.

The ceiling was angled with extra height on one side; as such our designer suggested illuminating above tall units to maximise the potential of this extra space. Furniture was sleek and without adornment: painted walnut frontals and a mixture of corian and solid walnut worktops. Suggested appliances included Neff and Franke models.

Luxury Bespoke Kitchen Design Frocester

A much-loved kitchen in need of updating, the clients were keen to retain the current layout but to improve aesthetics and reduce clutter. Practicality was the most important aspect.

As such our designer composed the scheme carefully to allow for the same layout but adapted the design in key areas to create a better flow and visual impact. Where possible items were integrated within cabinetry to free up worktop space, thus minimising clutter.

The clients requested a rustic, country feel; our designer suggested solid oak cabinetry with lacquered Cotswold frontals and contrasting solid surface worktop, finished with Bosch and AGA Rangemaster appliances.

Luxury Bespoke Kitchen Design Abbeydale

A busy, sociable couple who wanted to connect the two halves of their 'L' shaped kitchen/living area into one larger kitchen and dining area for entertaining. They were keen to keep the look of their modern build home consistent so the kitchen furniture needed to reflect this aesthetic.

Our designer created a space with increased flow; a practical yet accessible space that would be perfect for both cooking and leisure. An island that could seat 6-8 people and would also increase workspace was an integral feature of the design.

A contemporary feel was produced through utilising our Shaker-style 'Chatham' solid oak frontals and solid walnut worktops. Sleek appliances including Neff and AGA Rangemaster models completed the look.

Luxury Bespoke Kitchen Design Cheltenham

A couple with a young family. A busy, workable kitchen was required with some luxuries if possible.

Our designer opened the kitchen up into a dining area to create the best use of space. To incorporate the 'luxury' element, we suggested granite worktops but also quoted for walnut worktops, as a second option.

To increase the sense of light and airiness, we recommended hand painted frontals in a pale colour, and finishing with Bosch and AGA Rangemaster appliances.
