Catch up with us on Pinterest!

We warmly welcome you to connect with us on social media – we’re always thrilled to hear from customers or other design fans, and we’re always on the lookout for new things to talk about!

You can find us on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus, but our particular favourite at the moment is probably Pinterest! Please do visit our Pinterest profile to browse some of our latest boards; these include bespoke kitchen designs, boards inspired by our popular ‘Design Inspiration’ blog series, and key colour trends. Indeed, we’ve recently added one of our favourite case studies: entitled ‘Dream Kitchen Case Study: Modern White’, this board contains plenty of gorgeous pins that show different aspects of a kitchen we completed in Westbury-on-Severn – a beautiful design with granite worktops, a feature island, and solid oak cabinetry finished in Farrow & Ball’s White Tie.

So, if you are seeking inspiration for a new kitchen project or simply dreaming of delightful interiors, do find us on Pinterest – we’d love to hear from you!

Luxury Kitchens Deserve Lavish Finishing Touches: Cornices, Pelmets and Pilasters

The crowning glory to a gorgeous kitchen may not be quite what you expect: for us at Joseph & Kingsley, the devil is in the detail, and we think that little touches like cornices, pelmets, and pilasters can really make a difference to the overall aesthetic.

Our solid oak cabinetry looks exceptional in luxury kitchens; however, without a pilaster or two, there may still be gaps between doors. There are a wide variety of pilasters on the market which can finish the design perfectly. If opting for wooden worktops, why not try a pilaster in the same timber as your surface? We can provide pilasters in everything from classic oak to the more exotic zebrano. Pilasters can be square-edged or more ornate, depending on your preference, and can also be supplied in the Farrow & Ball colour of your choosing.

Cornices and pelmets can be similarly customised – our solid oak versions are available in lacquered or painted finishes – and also make a great addition to your wall cabinets. Without these extra hints of decoration, wall cabinetry can often feel unfinished, so we highly recommend choosing a pair of cornices and pelmets that add a sense of wow factor.

Feeling inspired? Why not pop into our Cheltenham showroom or get in touch: one of our friendly designers will be happy to discuss your kitchen project and the comprehensive range of options that are available – creating your dream kitchen has never been simpler!
